To develop a future-proof product, we began with intensive UX research. Our goal was to understand the use of equipment carts in hospitals and practices, and capture the true needs of users, manufacturers, and the international medical technology market. On-site, we deeply immersed ourselves in the daily hospital routine, analyzed usage scenarios, and identified key requirements. These insights were compiled into a requirement map, which served as the basis for developing a flexible modular concept and a durable design language.

Haeberle’s design focuses on a clear, approachable aesthetic that conveys trust and safety. Soft shapes and a light colour palette enhance the hospital environment, while accentuated details specifically highlight functionality. The design language seamlessly blends into clinical daily life and aligns with current and future trends in the medical industry.
In close collaboration with Haeberle’s development department, we developed innovative solutions that make everyday operations easier – whether it’s operation, cleaning, or service. By integrating digitalization and network independence from the start, as well as sustainable, modular, and repairable construction, we created a system that not only convinces technically but is also ready for the future.
